About the campsite

La Chazalet is a quiet and spacious rural campsite located in the heart of the Ardèche, surrounded by mountains and hills, affiliated to the dutch recreation organization ((no. 203 SVR France), the founder of the farmcampings. The campsite is particularly suitable for people who want to stay in a rural setting and do not look for much activities and a busy life. The peace of the countryside and contact with farm life and farm animals is widely preferred by many.

The camping has simple but clean facilities. On the farm fresh products can be bought, such as eggs, raspberries, vegetables and potatoes. It is a real farm site, there is a horse, ducks, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats and young animals every year. On the camping runs a shallow brook. Here, small children can play.
The sites are spacious and offer plenty of privacy, because only a maximum of 12 families are allowed. The terrain consists largely of grassland and partly of wood. There are places in the sun, shade and partial shade. The car is in most cases close to the tent. Due to the natural slope of the terrain and the trees every one has his own place. The main road is partly paved, partly sand / grass. The campsite is very quiet: there are no (fast) roads, railways, etc. nearby. On the main road runs only local traffic to several farms. By us, you hear only the silence of nature!
You can also rent a fully equipped caravan on the site (from 140 euros per week). All information and images found on the huurcaravan page.
	Hiking is possible directly from the campsite. Nearby are mountainbikes for hire. Not too far exhibitions, quaint villages, museums, markets and restaurants to visit and tennis, golf and swimming possible.

(SVR directive up to 19 euros for a family of 4 persons per night, with us 16 euros) Rates are valid until 30 October 2012 Rates include hot showers. For cars, motorcycles and caravans no extra charge. Dogs (and other pets) are welcome, but not in the caravans. The reservation fee is 10 euros Attention!
